Overview

This course will explore the processes, materials and applications associated with additive manufacturing, popularly referred to as 3D Printing. Metals, ceramics, polymers and composites can all be processed using additive manufacturing technologies.
This course will guide the student’s to undertake self-directed studies from popular, commercial and refereed research publications contributing to weekly group discussions into the additive manufacturing space.
The course learning emphasis will be on:

(1) Process (3-week module),

(2) Materials (3-week module),

(3) Applications (3-week module)

This course web-site is compiled from student presentations on the above learning modules based on the

course taught  by Prof. Sundar V. Atre.
